If you are like Amber and I’s families, Christmas is a wonderful time to be spent with family and friends! The smell of coffee first thing in the morning; the comfy pajamas; the absolute joy of watching someone open that gift you were so excited to get them! One of my favorite parts of Christmas has always been the stockings. My parents and Amber’s parents have always found the most fun, and sometimes quirky, things to put in our stockings. It is a tradition that I have come to enjoy and can’t wait to do the same for my kids someday.
Thinking about these stockings, I got to wondering.. What are some fun stocking stuffers that Amazon has to offer this year! So, I went on a search! Although there is no specific category to the following 5 items, I was able to find 5 stocking stuffers that your family & friends will love!
This has been one of my favorite finds this year! I featured this on my Tik Tok a few weeks back, and people have gone crazy over it. It seriously feels like “Flubber”, and if you are too young to know the reference, go google it! The gel comes in this little container, and all you do is take it out, slap it on a hard to clean area (car dash, cup holders, keyboards, etc.), and when you pull it back off, no more dirt and grime! It ranges from $6-8 on Amazon, so it’s a super cheap and fun gift!
“Slinky, slinky, gotta love the slinky… Slinky, slinky, GO SLINKY GO!” Again, if you aren’t sure the reference, you will want to look it up. One of the best movie series ever made! Who doesn’t love a little nostalgia on Christmas morning? I think everyone needs to experience the joy of a slinky at least once in their life. Sure, this is something that will probably end up in a closet or yard sale at some point, but in the moment, it will provide for a super fun and trip-down-memory-lane moment for anyone on Christmas morning.
Once the gift opening has settled and everyone is full from breakfast, it is couch time. What better way to enjoy your couch time than with a little brain puzzle. My mother-in-law always likes to throw these into my stocking each year. They aren’t super difficult, but gives me something to fidget with at the table throughout the day and makes for a little fun on Christmas morning.
You can’t have stockings without candy. They go together like Santa and Rudolph. Like peppermint Smirnoff and hot cocoa, like gingerbread and houses. You get the point. Pez dispensers are great gifts for kids. A little sugar high, and fun twist on candy. It makes the perfect choice for a candy-themed stocking stuffer!
Honestly, I had to throw this on my list, mostly because I forgot these even existed until I was looking at stocking stuffer ideas on Amazon! I got one of these around 10ish years old, and I can remember playing with it for HOURS! Such a simple toy that will lead to lots of fun. Basically, the older version of a fidget spinner.
